The Town of Lancy’s Christmas Market is an unmissable winter event for those who love a festive atmosphere, crafts and delicious food.
Whether it is to go for a stroll, come together as a family, with friends or colleagues, entertain the children, find gift ideas or try culinary delights, Christmas in Lancy is an unmissable end-of-year event.

The 2024 edition will take place from Wednesday 27 November to Sunday 1 December 2024 in the Place de Pont-Rouge.

A giant letterbox will be installed at the entrance to the Christmas Market for all the children in the municipality who have been good to come and post their letters to Father Christmas. (Note to parents: don’t forget to write your child’s first name, surname and postal address on the back of the envelope or on the letter).

The exhibitors are fully responsible for sales, warranties and returns of products purchased at the Christmas Market. We recommend you note down the name of the stands you are buying from (their contact details are on our website).

The public will find a large number of catering options. A few tables and chairs will be available in the heated tent.
In food and drink distribution, single-use crockery has been banned for several years at municipal events.
Returnable glasses with a deposit and reusable crockery will be available on site.

On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, a DJ will set the mood for your after-work event. On the weekend, two bake sales will be organised. The first will take place on Saturday and be presented by the sports association Lancy Plan-les-Ouates Handball, and on Sunday the Ippon Karate Club Tivoli will welcome you at the stand.

"La Virgule association, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, provides accommodation for people who have lost their jobs or their homes and encountered major difficulties in their lives. Distillerie de Saconnex-d'Arve
The Distillerie de Saconnex-d’Arve processes thousands of kilos of fruit every year to produce spirits and liqueurs, in collaboration with private individuals. It offers around thirty varieties, including fruit and gin. The fermentation is carried out without chemicals or selected yeasts, guaranteeing the authenticity of the flavours. Distillation takes place in two copper alembic stills, one of which dates back to 1923, on their premises in Saconnex-d’Arve.
